What is Green Tea?
A timeless favorite, green tea is all about freshness! Unoxidized and bright, green tea is known for its light, clean taste, natural sweetness, enticing scent, and easy-drinking feel.
THE TEA
Moganshan Mountain is a famous retreat for the who's who of Shanghai that want to beat the heat from the city by getting up into the cool mountains. I get this tea direct from the tea farmers in the region!
Moganshan green tea is picked fresh each spring, processed, and refrigerated until packing, when it is sealed to keep in freshness. It is known for its sweet, slightly grassy taste that is makes it super easy-drinking. The leaves are whole and bright green.
It has a fresh, revitalizing fragrance that makes it fantastic for any season!
This year, we worked with our tea farmers to hand-process the tea, which will lead to a smaller, more curled leaf with even more fragrance.
The Perfect Summer Tea
While green tea can be consumed year-round, it is especially prized during summer, because of its lower, cooler steeping temperature and crisp, easy-drinking flavor.
And while it's not a traditional Chinese method, green tea makes for an excellent cold brew or iced tea!

The first ever green tea on the shop was the 2022 Moganshan Green. I expected that when 2023 came around, people would ask for new and different types of tea, but people loved the Moganshan so much that everyone insisted we get the new 2023 Spring crop as well!
This is a fantastic, balanced green tea that will definitely brighten your day.
