"Tea Leafs" Rewards
Hello Tea Friends,
Tea Leafs are the reward currency that our customers accumulate as they shop with us. How do they work? Read below for more information.
Starting Your Account
To get started, head on down to the little green bubble on the lower right section of the home page. There should be a link that takes you to sign up with Smile, our points program. Once you set yourself up with an email and password or sign in with one of their partners, you should be all set to go!
With some regular use, your account will start to look a little like this.
Earning Tea Leafs
There are currently four ways to earn Tea Leafs.
- Signup - This one is simple! You get a nice little bonus when you first sign up with us.
- Place An Order - This is the main way to earn Tea Leafs. For every dollar spent, you will earn 5 Tea Leafs. Please ensure that the email you register with is the same one you checkout with. That way, you’ll get your hard-earned points!
- Celebrate a Birthday - Every year when your birthday comes around (as long as you have it entered!) you will be rewarded a bonus 500 Tea Leafs. Make sure you fill it in at least a month in advance, or you’ll have to wait until next year.
- Follow on Instagram - For an additional 50 Tea Leafs, you can follow our Instagram page!
Redeeming Tea Leafs
To redeem your Tea Leafs, head down to the Tea Leaf button and scroll down to “Ways to Redeem.” Here, you should be able to view a variety of options you can save your points for. If you have enough, click the one you like! A code will be generated for you to use in your cart.
Tea Leaf FAQ’s
How do I receive my reward after redemption?
- Once you’ve redeemed your Tea Leafs for the reward of your choice, you should receive a special, one time use coupon code via your email. If you have any trouble finding it, reach out to our support team and they’ll be happy to help!
I redeemed some points but I decided I’d rather save them. Can I get a refund?
- Sure! As long as the code hasn’t been used. Just reach out to our team at teafriendsupport@jessesteahouse.com and we’ll get you fixed up.
Do my Tea Leafs expire?
- They do, but it takes quite some time! Points have an expiration date of 2 years after they've been obtained. You can always see the expiration date for your points on the first page of the Tea Leaf pop-up.
Are there any bonuses for referring friends?
- Yes! Each person has their own referral code that gives the recipient a discount on their order. You can find it under “Refer Your Friends”
How does the “Status” system work?
- Every time you make an order with us, your points will accumulate into something we have called VIP Points. When you have enough, you’ll automatically be rewarded with the next tier title and a little bonus gift from us!
