This is a PERORDER for the 2026 green tea crop. We cannot guarantee when they will arrive, though in the past 3 years, we usually deliver in late June or early July.
Customers who preorder can receive a full refund at any time before we ship the tea to you by emailing teafriendsupport@jessesteahouse.com.
Any other items ordered alongside this preorder will wait for delivery until the preorders arrive to ship. So if you want other items as well, make a separate order unless you are willing to wait until the preorders arrive.
Thank you for preordering! It's really important for us to avoid over- or under- ordering the spring green teas since they are difficult to get.

Spring green tea is the made from the first buds that grow after the tea plant has been storing nutrients for all winter.

We work directly with our tea farmers and partners in China to pack and seal green teas within days of harvest, locking in freshness!

Each sampler includes one 50g / 1.76oz (10 sessions) of each of 3 teas:
- Hangzhou Longjing "Dragonwell" Green Tea
- White Anji Green Tea
- Premium Jasmine Pearl Green Tea
THE TEAS:
White Anji Green Tea
50g (10 sessions)
White tea? Green tea?
It's a bit confusing, but even though the Chinese name of this tea literally translates to "Anji White Tea", it is actually a super fresh and flavorful green tea! The "White" in the name refers to the bright, translucent color of the steeped leaves.
Known for it's very smooth mouth feel, Anji white tea has a soft, clean taste followed by a sweet finish. The leaves are long and pointy, and unfurl beautifully in water.
Jesse Says: We put it on the site last year and it has been a great success! It is super sweet and crisp, very easy-drinking, and makes excellent cold brew as well.
This tea was my favorite back when I lived in Shanghai for half a year in 2017 as a writer and cast member on the Chinese version of SNL. Anji is very close to Shanghai and I had the hookup with the farmers. I drank this stuff three times a day to keep writing all day.

Hangzhou Longjing (Dragonwell)

The classic green tea of the last 1500 years! Delicate with natural sweetness, Longjing is what everyone thinks of when you say "green tea."
This spring Longjing from the mountains surrounding area near Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, will bring the scent and taste of the famous West Lake to your home. This is a tea worth inviting friends over to try!
Jesse Says: Dragonwell, simply put, is "the" green tea! If you ever get a chance to visit Hangzhou, go to one of the many teahouses ringing the West Lake, sit, sip, and enjoy!
This will be our fourth year selling longjing on the site, and every year it is our best-selling green tea. I am very glad to bring it back!
Our dragonwell comes from right outside Hangzhou, close to - but not in - the West Lake central region. The tea from our providers is excellent quality but since it is outside the central region, we are able to give much better value. Still, this is a top-quality, hand-picked green tea and I am sure it will be a fantastic choice for any tea drinker!
Premium Jasmine Pearl Green Tea

Jasmine pearls are a staple of the western tea market, but are oftentimes made with low quality green teas and sprayed with fragrant oils instead of aromatized naturally with Jasmine flowers.
These jasmine pearls are a step up from what is easily available, using quality spring green tea leaves as the base and aromatized by laying jasmine flowers on top of the leaves overnight and allowing the natural scent of the jasmine to be absorbed by the green tea leaves.
The classic rolled "pearl" shape makes them super fun to make, as you can see the leaves expand as they steep!

Unfortunately, due to paperwork challenges stemming from customs-related issues, our Moganshan green tea farmers were unable to get the paperwork needed to export our Moganshan Green tea in time for our preorder.
We hope to feature it either later in the year as an item for individual sale, or next year in our 2027 sampler.
This is truly sad for me, since we have worked with these farmers for several years. However, you can be assured that the green teas we do have on the site fit the highest standards of the Teahouse!

Can I buy them individually?
After the teas have arrived and all preorder customers get their tea, any remaining green tea will be available for individual purchase.
This sampler will also remain available, when in stock, though customers purchasing after the pre-order period will not get the free mystery tea pet.
