Jesse’s Updates for Each Region

~Most Recent Update: February 27~

US and CA - Launched and in stock!

EU - Teas Launch Any Day Now!

The new teas have arrived in our Netherlands warehouse! We are getting them on the shelves and they will ship out very soon!

The tea cups and tea pets are a few days behind, so customers with pets/cups will need to wait a few more days.

GB - We will be sending Subscription Boxes to pre-existing subscribers from the USA because of more customs issues.

The UK Customs have been such a huge problem that I am going to eat the cost of sending our UK tea friends who were already subscribed their boxes from the US warehouse, rather than ask you to wait until we solve the issues.

We will charge you for the price of the teas, VAT and local UK shipping, then pay the additional international shipping and customs fees for you so you can get your tea sooner.

Please note that this only applies to pre-existing UK Subscribers, and any new subscriptions made from US to UK will be charged tax, duties and shipping as normal.

I really want to get the teahouse running in the UK and know the experience hasn’t been good. But we have lost so much money already trying to get tea through to the UK that for now this is the best I can do for our UK customers. We are always looking for new customs companies and agencies, if you know someone who has done tea importing formally with customs declaration to the UK from China, please email teafriendsupport@jessesteahouse.com.

The shipment that we hoped would be here in February will (hopefully) be arriving in March and the good news about that is that we will hopefully be in stock for longer without interruption when it arrives.

Thank you Tea Friends!!

Trying to run four warehouses in four regions is turning out to be harder than we thought, but importing directly and formally clearing customs allows us to give you all 1) fast, reliable, affordable shipping wherever you live and 2) avoid any US tariffs for non-US customers.

As February continues, I will update this blog with the most recent info, so feel free to check back if you have any questions! You can also email teafriendsupport@jessesteahouse.com, but please read this blog first, since our email team will keep this blog updated.

I am, as always, grateful and in awe of your support,

And remain,

Your Tea Guy,

Jesse 杰西

An extra note for our EU/UK Tea Friends:

Due to issues with EU and UK customs and the length of time it took to get all the paperwork done, the orange picking season went by quickly and reduced the amount of EU- and UK-compliant tea oranges we could pick before the oranges grew too large to harvest.

This means we had a smaller than expected crop of tea oranges and as such can only guarantee enough tea oranges for our subscribers in this first shipment.

If you are not a subscriber, we will have a few extras in stock, but not many, and will need to wait for the next orange crop in the spring to start restocking for these regions.

However, we spent over a year sourcing and testing EU- and UK-qualified oranges and teas, and spent thousands of dollars on pesticide testing and other compliance requirements, specifically to bring these tea oranges to your markets! So we hope to get back in stock ASAP and stay in stock going forward in 2026.

I thank you all for your patience and support as we try to get the best quality products to you and follow all local regulations. We want to do things the right way!

I know that has caused frustration for customers who don’t know when things will go out of stock. So, if you know you want the tea oranges and you see them in stock in your market, do not wait! They will sell out, for sure, and probably quickly. We are already planning a restock!

Thank you so much for your patience and support! For the most up-to-date information keep checking back here.
