Hello Tea Friends!
I have been so excited to get so many questions from people about our new warehouses, subscriptions, and wanted to update everyone! Country and Region-specific updates are below.
For all customers: After August 1, no need to go to EU, UK or CA-specific websites, just go to www.jessesteahouse.com
Don’t see the item you want? It might not be available in your region yet. It may display as “out of stock” but it probably just isn’t through customs yet.
You can always switch to the American store, but then your whole shipment will come from the USA warehouse, and you may need to pay customs fees. I ask our international customers to give us a few more days to work it out and check your regional update below!

TO ALL CUSTOMERS: If you would like a refund for any pre-ordered items or to skip this subscription cycle, we are happy to refund anyone who wants those refunds. I’m here to get people good tea, not take people’s money and not deliver! I am trying my best!
🇪🇺 European Union (EU) 🇪🇺
All of the new green teas and subscription box items reached the EU in mid-July and have been stuck awaiting customs clearance.
In order to clear customs, our warehouse partner needs to register with an EU regulatory authority. For some reason they failed to do this before the shipment arrived, but they have now delivered the documents successfully, and the teas are to be sent to customs on Sept. 10.
When that is done, the goods will go to our warehouse, and all backorders and preorders will be filled, and we will (hopefully) never have this issue again with any new teas or restocks!
🇬🇧 United Kingdom (UK) 🇬🇧
British Customs has forced me to destroy our shipment of Biluochun Green Tea and GABA Oolong because of a paperwork issue. The ID number of our (passed) pesticide testing was not printed on one of the papers and they refused to accept new paperwork. I made a video on it here.
We have made new orders of all the items, they are packed and ready, and are being sent to the airport in the next few days to get air shipped to the UK. This time we want written confirmation from the UK customs that the forms are in order before we send them. We expect them to arrive around September 10 but I have learned my lesson about promising specific dates for UK customs to clear the goods and so I can only share what I know on this blog as we learn more.
🇨🇦 Canada (CA) 🇨🇦
Everything has cleared customs and is in our warehouse! Our tech systems are linked and our last step is waiting for confirmation from the Canadian government of our Business ID number so we can collect GST/HST taxes.
We should open any day now!
Also, we are still waiting for a shipment of the below items. They will show out of stock at launch, but will be in stock when they arrive. Everything else in the USA shop will be available at launch!

Trying to launch and run four warehouses in four regions is turning out to be harder than we thought, but we have done it! However, each warehouse is in a slightly different place, since each country’s Customs has delayed things by a few days to a few weeks.
