Jesse’s Updates for Each Region
- February 1st, 2026 -
US - Barring major unexpected issues, we should be launching on 2/15.
CA - We are almost ready to launch in Canada and will likely be able to launch around the same time the US store launches, but I don’t want to over-promise while we have so many balls being juggled in the air at the same time.
EU - All the teas, cups and pets have been shipped and will arrive in the EU in early/mid February. We expect they will clear customs by late February, but we have had delays in EU customs before so we cannot say for sure.
GB - All the cups and pets have been shipped and will arrive in the UK mid-late February. We don’t anticipate any issues with these.
All the teas are still awaiting air shipment to China because of paperwork issues. British customs continue to be our biggest challenge amongst all global markets because of confusing and changing rules about importing teas and challenges with finding reliable shippers. If you are part of a company that has successfully imported and cleared customs for packaged pre-packaged food products from China to the UK, please email teafriendsupport@jessesteahouse.com.
However, we will continue to fight through and aim to have them in the UK as soon as possible - hopefully by late February, though I have given up on predicting what UK customs will do.

Thank you Tea Friends!!
Trying to run four warehouses in four regions is turning out to be harder than we thought, but importing directly and formally clearing customs allows us to give you all 1) fast, reliable, affordable shipping wherever you live and 2) avoid any US tariffs for non-US customers.
As February continues, I will update this blog with the most recent info, so feel free to check back if you have any questions! You can also email teafriendsupport@jessesteahouse.com, but please read this blog first, since our email team will keep this blog updated.
I am, as always, grateful and in awe of your support,
And remain,
Your Tea Guy,
Jesse 杰西
An extra note for our EU/UK Tea Friends:
Due to issues with EU and UK customs and the length of time it took to get all the paperwork done, the orange picking season went by quickly and reduced the amount of EU- and UK-compliant tea oranges we could pick before the oranges grew too large to harvest.
This means we had a smaller than expected crop of tea oranges and as such can only guarantee enough tea oranges for our subscribers in this first shipment.
If you are not a subscriber, we will have a few extras in stock, but not many, and will need to wait for the next orange crop in the spring to start restocking for these regions.
However, we spent over a year sourcing and testing EU- and UK-qualified oranges and teas, and spent thousands of dollars on pesticide testing and other compliance requirements, specifically to bring these tea oranges to your markets! So we hope to get back in stock ASAP and stay in stock going forward in 2026.
I thank you all for your patience and support as we try to get the best quality products to you and follow all local regulations. We want to do things the right way!
I know that has caused frustration for customers who don’t know when things will go out of stock. So, if you know you want the tea oranges and you see them in stock in your market, do not wait! They will sell out, for sure, and probably quickly. We are already planning a restock!
