This is the second version of the Taiwanese sampler, an updated version with more teas at a lower price point, allowing tea friends to take a whole tour of Taiwan’s teas in one box!
I went to Taiwan in January 2024 with no idea what I would find, so I posted a "mystery box" item on the site.
That sampler had four teas and a total of 110 grams of tea, but the $50 price tag meant it was a bit expensive to just give them a try and see which you liked.
Over the years, we have added three more Taiwanese teas to the site, and so when it came time to restock the Taiwan sampler, we changed formats: now, the sampler has 7 teas, each with 10g, and a lower sticker price with basically the same price per gram.
I think this will be a fantastic new way for people to get tea from this beautiful place - including our farm on Dongding mountain (below). I hope you like the teas and the new sampler format!

Uncle Liu is one of the last people in all of Taiwan who still does traditional charcoal roasting, using only pure Longan tree charcoal to make small batches of maximum 6 kg at a time.
