Because they grow wild across the mountain, they are essentially “uncultivated” and contain no pesticide at all. Every year, the Guizhou tea farmers pick the wild chrysanthemums they see as they go about their other harvests, keeping them in separate pouches, and bringing them back. This is also why they are so small - the wild natural flowers are just smaller than human-cultivated types.

The result is the best chrysanthemums I’ve ever had - the scent is so clean and powerful you will be surprised that only a few flowers in any given pot will produce such a smell.
